We set up Augeo Ventures in 2009. Our goal is to support company owners in developing successful business ventures. We graduated from prestigious domestic and foreign universities, and business schools. Our extensive experience has roots in corporate finance, management consulting, commercial and investment banking, private equity, and capital markets’ supervision.
We are a small group of professionals who enjoy what we do and enjoy working together. Sometimes, for several decades. We believe that our diverse expertise (and – even age differences), in-depth knowledge from many sources, and our long-standing contacts with experts from numerous industries enable us to complete projects with individual approach to each.

Dariusz M. Budzeń is the President of the Management Board of Augeo Ventures. He has been active on the Polish capital market since the transformation of the Polish economy began in 1989. He started his career in Access Ltd. (corporate finance), with some of the first privatizations in Poland, including the first trade sale on the market and the first privatization of a bank via IPO.
Subsequently, he worked as the advisor to two consecutive Chairmen of the Polish Securities and Exchange Commission. Dariusz advised on various issues, including: Depositary Receipts’ programs, underwriting services, establishment and operations of OTC market, options and futures trading.
In the mid-1990s, Dariusz joined Bank Rozwoju Eksportu (the present mBank) as the Advisor to the CEO and was involved in development of the two noteworthy projects: formation of the Trust Fund Company “Skarbiec” and two PE funds based in Luxembourg (Europe) and the State of Delaware (US).
The next stage of Dariusz’s career was the position of Deputy CEO at FAMCO S.A. – a PE management company (GP), where he was responsible for fund raising, deal sourcing, investment monitoring, and reporting to PE funds’ shareholders.
Afterwards, Dariusz assumed the position of Deputy CEO at Pekao Access Ltd. (UniCredit Group); where he managed M&A advisory services in diverse industries, such as: chemical, petrochemical, energy, construction, financial services, pharmaceutical, telecom and waste management.
Ever since Augeo Ventures was established in 2009, Dariusz has been its CEO. He directly manages M&A, fundraising and Polish market entry projects. He is also engaged in management consulting projects.
Dariusz is an alumnus of the Law Department of Warsaw University (Master’s in Law) and graduated from Northwestern University School of Law (LL.M. with honors). He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School in Barcelona (University of Navarra), where he completed a senior executive program aimed at improving leadership capacity and professional effectiveness, from the general management perspective. Except for native Polish, Dariusz is fluent in English and Russian and communicates in Bulgarian, French and Italian.

Monika commenced her professional career in the BZWBK S.A. bank (the present Santander Bank). Afterwards, she moved to Copernicus Securities S.A. The next stage of her career was at PwC Polska Sp. z o.o., where she was involved in transaction advisory.
Monika joined Augeo Ventures in 2013. She oversees or leads management consulting projects, assisting Clients in strategy development, process optimization, business restructuring.
Monika is also involved in M&A projects. She participates in advisory assignments carried out for Clients in such industries, as: FMCG, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, engineering (HVAC), etc.
She graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, in the Finance and Accounting Department (Master’s Degree). Prior to that, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Company Management from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
